About Jackson Guitars
Jackson began in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity. A small guitar repair shop in Southern California, operated by Grover Jackson, answered the call with a new generation of high-performance custom guitars bearing Jackson's own name on their headstock. Since then, Jackson guitars have been universally praised as metal guitars.
