About Grestch
Gretsch was founded in 1883 in Brooklyn by Friederich Gretsch, who made a name for himself in the manufacture of percussion instruments. In 1939 he launched his first Gretsch electric guitar, the Electromatic Spanish. Great artists such as Chet Atkins have used instruments from this manufacturer, putting them on the world stage.
