Second Generation Yamaha Revstar
Inspired by the racing motorbikes that roamed the streets of London and Tokyo in the 1960s, the Revstar series captures that individual character where performance comes first. This second generation of Revstar guitars is divided into three different ranges: Element, Standard and Professional
- Chambered mahogany body
- Chambered acoustic design to lighten weight and maximise resonance
- Choice of P90 or Alnico V humbucker pickups
- Scale length: 24.75
- 5-position selector switch for Standard and Professional ranges
- Focus Siwtch for Standard and Professional ranges: push/pull control that activates a passive booster with an effect similar to having higher gain pickups
- Dry Switch for the Element range: push/pull control that activates a low-frequency filter
- Left-handed models available in the Standard and Element ranges
Chambered bodies
The Standard range of Revstar guitars features lightweight bodies designed to optimise weight, balance and tone, offering a new playing experience for the guitarist. The acoustic design process is based on advanced measurements, analysis and modelling tools to create a guitar body design that generates a clear, powerful tone with maximum resonance.
Focus/Dry Switch
The Focus Switch boost switch is offered in the Revstar Standard and Professional ranges, while the Dry Switch is part of the Element range, providing extra versatility. See them in action in the videos below.
