The Avalanche Run is a multi-function pedal and EarthQuaker’s first to feature a high-powered DSP platform. It was designed to meet the demand for a stereo and/or tap-tempo version of their famous Dispatch Master.
- Delay + Reverb
- Up to 2000ms of delay time
- True bypass
- Made in the USA
The Avalanche Run offers an inverted delay mode with Swell and reverb, plus tap tempo with subdivisions. It can be used in True Bypass mode or Trails mode, allowing the effect’s tail to continue after the pedal is switched off.
- Adjustable reverb with a plate-like timbre
- Tape-style delay with Bucket Brigade (BBD)-like sensitivity
- Adjustable loop durations in Trails mode and auto-oscillation when holding the Tap switch
- Expression pedal input with selectable control options:
- Decay: Controls reverb tail length
- R Mix: Blends reverb with dry signal
- Time: Replaces the time knob, behaving differently from the potentiometer
- Repeats: Adjusts delay feedback
- D Mix: Blends delay with the dry signal
- Toggle: Replaces the mini switch, allowing delay type selection via the expression pedal
- Ratio control for setting time subdivisions via Tap Tempo: 1/1, 4/4, 2/3, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4
- Mini switch to select between Normal, Reverse, and Sweep delay modes
- Soft-touch relay switching (requires power to operate)
- Operates at 9V
- Power consumption: 410mA
- Input impedance: 1MΩ
- Durable metal enclosure
- 6.3mm mono input and output jacks
- Dimensions: 118 x 105 x 57mm
